Galaxy A35 could be next in line for One UI 9.0 beta update
A few days ago, a beta firmware for the Galaxy A35 featuring One UI 9.0 (Android 17) was spotted on Samsung’s servers. It suggested that the brand could release a beta version of its latest custom Android interface for the phone before rolling out the stable version, giving its users early access to the new software. Now, we have more evidence to back that up.
Samsung seems to have created a beta section for the Galaxy A35 on its Community forum. It strongly suggests that the brand could soon open the One UI 9.0 beta program for the phone. While we still don’t have a date for when that could happen, the company usually takes this step a couple of days before opening a beta program. So, the users may not have to wait much longer.
Samsung has opened the One UI 9.0 beta program for more Galaxy phones than it did for the One UI 8.0 and One UI 8.5 beta programs. In addition, the brand has released the One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy A36, which wasn’t expected to receive it. Taken together with the newly created beta section for the Galaxy A35, it is almost certain that the phone will get the One UI 9.0 beta program.
One UI 9.0 brings more customization options for the user interface, along with several new accessibility, convenience, and productivity features. We’ve put together a video showcasing the biggest changes and upgrades in action, which you can check out at the end of this article.
