Make your Galaxy phone part of your Windows PC setup with Samsung Multi Control
Samsung made its Multi Control feature available on more Windows PCs with a September 2026 update to the Galaxy Connect app. The update added support for MediaTek and Realtek Bluetooth adapters alongside Intel.
Galaxy Connect already gained support for PCs from other manufacturers in April 2026, but those computers needed Intel Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware. The expanded adapter support means more people can use features like Multi Control and Storage Share with their existing PC.
Multi Control lets you use your Windows PCâs mouse and keyboard to control a compatible Galaxy phone or tablet. A Galaxy tablet can also act as the controlling device if you connect a mouse and keyboard to it.
Hereâs how to set it up and use it with your Windows PC.
What does Samsung Multi Control do?
Once Multi Control is connected, you can move your mouse pointer from your PC’s display onto your Galaxy phone or tablet’s screen. You can then click to open apps, scroll through them, type using the keyboard connected to your computer, and do pretty much anything you can do with your finger.

Moving between screens is similar to using multiple monitors in Windows. You can connect multiple Galaxy devices at the same time and arrange each one above, below, to the left, or to the right of your PCâs display.
For example, you could have your phone on the right and your tablet on the left, then move the mouse pointer past the corresponding edge of your PCâs screen to control either device.
Your phone or tablet continues running its own apps, so you could be using your PC and move over to reply to a message on your phone using the same mouse and keyboard.
Multi Control also lets you copy and paste text between devices and drag and drop photos and other files, though some apps may limit what you can transfer.
What do you need to use Multi Control on a Windows PC?
For the Galaxy Connect setup, you need a PC running Windows 11 with a 64-bit Intel or AMD processor. ARM-based PCs aren’t supported.
Your computer also needs Wi-Fi and a compatible Bluetooth adapter; Samsung specifies Bluetooth 5.0 or newer with Extended Advertising support.
On the mobile side, you need a compatible Galaxy phone or tablet running One UI 5.1 or newer. Sign in to the same Samsung account on your PC and mobile device, connect them to the same Wi-Fi network, and turn on Bluetooth on both.
How to enable Multi Control
- Download or update Galaxy Connect from the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC.
- Open Galaxy Connect and sign in to the Samsung account you use on your phone or tablet. Install the Samsung Account app if prompted.
- Select Multi Control in Galaxy Connect. Follow any prompts to install the supporting Multi Control app, then open it and turn the feature on.
- On your Galaxy phone or tablet, go to Settings » Connected devices » Multi control and enable it.
- On your PC, select your phone or tablet in Multi Control to connect to it.
- In Multi Control’s layout settings, drag the phone or tablet icon above, below, or to either side of the PC’s display to match where you’ve placed it. Click Apply to save the arrangement.
Multi Control also has an Auto connect option in its PC settings. Enable it to automatically connect to your nearby Galaxy devices when theyâre on the same Wi-Fi network, so you donât have to connect them manually each time.
Once connected, move your mouse pointer past the corresponding edge of your PC’s screen to start controlling your phone or tablet. Move it back toward the PC when you want to return to Windows.
