IFA 2026 brought plenty of new headphones and earbuds to Berlin, but a handful of products stood out from the crowd. From affordable earbuds packed with flagship features to sleep buds that can track your heart rate overnight, these are the audio products that caught our attention at this year’s show.

The EarFun Air Pro 5 are affordable wireless earbuds packed with features

The EarFun Air Pro 5 are the most feature-packed affordable wireless earbuds we saw at IFA 2026. These are the successor to the EarFun Air Pro 4, which received a SoundGuys Editor’s Choice award for its great sound quality and features for less than $100. The new Air Pro 5 use upgraded 11mm LCP composite drivers and EarFun’s QuietSmart 4.0 hybrid adaptive ANC. With acoustic engineering support from Bose, EarFun says these earbuds can reduce low-frequency ambient noise by up to 98%. There are five ANC levels along with wind noise suppression, while Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC, LE Audio, LC3, and Auracast support make the Air Pro 5 particularly well equipped on the connectivity side. You can even connect to three devices simultaneously, compared with the more common two-device multipoint implementation. A six-microphone AI call system, AI translation through the EarFun Audio app, and up to 54 hours of total battery life round out the package. With flagship features at an affordable price, the EarFun Air Pro 5 are worth checking out.

The Edifier WH950NB Pro are all-around wireless headphones that don’t break the bank

The Edifier WH950NB Pro stood out at IFA 2026 by packing an unusually ambitious acoustic system into a pair of wireless ANC headphones. Instead of relying on a single full-range driver, Edifier uses a 40mm woofer and dedicated 10mm tweeter on each side, paired with a DSP-enhanced analog crossover designed to divide frequencies between the two drivers more effectively. That hardware is joined by Adaptive Hybrid ANC using an eight-microphone sensing system, plus spatial audio with dynamic head tracking that adjusts the soundstage as you move your head. Connectivity is another strength: the WH950NB Pro supports Bluetooth 6.1, LDAC, multipoint, Google Fast Pair, USB-C digital audio, and an active 3.5mm input. There’s also a six-microphone AI beamforming system for calls, wearing detection, and a Smart Chat feature that automatically pauses your music and switches on transparency mode when it detects your voice. Edifier rates battery life at approximately 70 hours with ANC switched off. Altogether, the WH950NB Pro looks like one of IFA’s more interesting options for listeners who want flagship features without abandoning wired connectivity.

The Anker Soundcore Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro are great for sleep tracking

If you are looking to improve your sleep, the Anker Soundcore Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro are worth checking out. Anker Soundcore is pushing further into sleep tracking by adding in-ear PPG sensors that can monitor metrics including heart rate and heart rate variability while you sleep, potentially removing the need to wear a smartwatch or smart ring overnight. The charging case is also much more ambitious than what you’d normally get with a pair of earbuds. It has its own AMOLED display that can be used to adjust settings, set alarms, and view a sleep summary in the morning without immediately reaching for your phone. That combination makes the Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro feel closer to a dedicated sleep wearable that happens to double as a pair of earbuds. It’s an interesting direction for Soundcore, particularly for people who already prefer sleeping with earbuds but don’t want another device strapped to their wrist. Of course, we’ll need to test the comfort and tracking accuracy before determining how useful those extra features actually are. The Soundcore Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro are expected to launch in November for $349, putting them firmly at the premium end of the sleep-earbud market, but with enough features to justify the high price tag.

Honorable mention: beyerdynamic AVENTHO Y

The beyerdynamic AVENTHO Y earns an honorable mention because it could represent the company’s strongest push yet into the mainstream consumer headphone market. Beyerdynamic is best known for studio and enthusiast headphones, but at $149.99, the AVENTHO Y is priced to compete with much more mass-market wireless options while still retaining some of the build quality and repairability we associate with the brand. The foldable design uses aluminum sliders and stainless-steel hinges, while the magnetic ear pads and user-replaceable battery mean high-wear parts can be swapped rather than forcing you to replace the entire headset. Beyerdynamic hasn’t skimped on the everyday features either. You get active noise cancelation, Bluetooth 6.0 multipoint, more than 90 hours of claimed battery life with ANC off or up to 60 hours with it enabled, and fast charging that provides up to six hours of playback from five minutes of charging. Optional velour ear pads and an upgrade bundle with a low-latency USB-C dongle and detachable boom microphone add even more versatility. If the AVENTHO Y can deliver the sound quality we expect from beyerdynamic at this price, it could be an appealing bridge between the company’s audiophile heritage and a much broader consumer audience.
