New Galaxy S25 FE update brings August 2026 security patch

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S25 FE. It brings the August 2026 security patch, which fixes 56 security issues.

As usual, the brand is offering it first in its home country, South Korea. The update for the region is 311.62MB in size and carries firmware version S731NKSS9BZH2 (via Samsung Community).

Usually, after rolling out an update first in its home country, the company releases it in other regions in the next few days. You can check the availability of the August 2026 security patch on your Galaxy S25 FE by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

The Galaxy S25 FE is currently running on One UI 8.5 and is eligible to get Samsung’s next and latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0. Based on Android 17, it offers more UI customization options and many new features. The update is expected to arrive in the next few months.
