Samsung may open One UI 9.0 beta program for Galaxy A54

Back in June, we learned that Samsung has started developing its latest custom Android interface for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), for the Galaxy A54. Now, it looks like the brand will open the new software’s beta program before releasing its stable version.

A beta firmware for the Galaxy A54 featuring One UI 9.0 has been spotted on Samsung’s server. It carries version A546SKSUJZZH3 (via Tarun Vats). The latest discovery strongly suggests that the company will release its beta version before rolling out the stable build.

The South Korean tech giant opening the One UI 9.0 beta program for the Galaxy A54 will allow the phone’s users to try out the new software before Samsung releases its stable version.

The brand was expected to expand the One UI 9.0 beta program to devices beyond the Galaxy S26 series and start rolling out its stable version soon after launching its latest foldable phones.

However, it has been more than a month since the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 came out, and there’s still no word from the company on the One UI 9.0 beta and stable rollout.

Just like the previous versions of One UI, One UI 9.0 also brings a redesigned user interface, more UI customization options, and new features. You can check out some of them in our video below.
