Asus Googlebook appears in a new set of renders ahead of launch

Google’s new seemingly premium lineup of notebooks called Googlebook will kick off pre-orders on September 21. However, we still haven’t seen anything official from Google’s hardware partners, so the renders of the Asus Googlebook obtained by The Mac Observer give us a really good look at what to expect in a few days.

The Asus Googlebook comes in a very familiar form factor, but features a distinctive « G » key along with an RGB light bar on the lid. And from what we’ve seen so far, these two design traits will be present across all Googlebooks.
