Samsung updates Galaxy Tab S11 series with September 2026 security patch

Samsung has started rolling out the September 2026 security patch to its tablets, and as expected, the brand is offering it first to its latest and most premium models, the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

It fixes 90 security issues. As usual, the brand has released the updates first in its home country, South Korea. Below are the firmware versions for the non-cellular and cellular variants of both models for the region.

Going by Samsung’s software update rollout history for its tablets, the brand should release the September 2026 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in other countries over the next few days.

You can check their availability and get them by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. On a related note, it is also worth pointing out that both tablets are expected to get One UI 9.0 (Android 17) in the next few weeks.
