Hisense takes on JBL and Ultimate Ears with its first outdoor Bluetooth speaker lineup

Hisense is expanding beyond living room televisions and soundbars, officially launching a new lineup of outdoor-ready portable Bluetooth speakers in the US. The brand is directly targeting the best Bluetooth speakers segment, dominated by JBL and Ultimate Ears, with three distinct portable offerings: the FlexBoom, WeBoom, and VoyageBoom, covering different sizes, budgets, and sound preferences. These three Bluetooth speakers were launched at CES 2026 and are now making their way to the US market.

Anchoring the portable range is the entry-level Hisense FlexBoom at $119.99, a compact, grab-and-go option delivering 40W of output via a single tweeter, woofer, and dual passive radiators. Built with an IP67 dust- and water-resistant rating, it offers up to 20 hours of battery life, Auracast support for multi-speaker broadcasting, a built-in speakerphone, and a quick-charge feature that delivers two hours of playback from a 10-minute top-up.

Stepping up in size and low-end impact, the Hisense WeBoom at $199.99 delivers 70W of power with dual tweeters and dual woofers. It extends playtime to 24 hours while retaining the IP67 build and adding an integrated carrying strap, dedicated Bass Boost, power-bank functionality to recharge mobile devices, and customizable LED lighting effects controlled via the companion ConnectLife app.

For maximum portable performance, the VoyageBoom at $299.99 tops the outdoor range with a 2.1-channel driver layout featuring two tweeters, two woofers, and a dedicated built-in subwoofer, capable of hitting 136W on battery power (or 180W when plugged into AC). It retains the 24-hour battery life, IP67 weather resistance, built-in power bank, and synchronized lighting, along with a built-in handle for carrying it around.

Alongside the portable trio, Hisense has also introduced the Party Thunder Pro at $399.99, a 620W wheeled party tower equipped with six drivers, an included wireless microphone, guitar inputs, and DJ effects, for larger venues.
