Apple’s Fine Print: Daily Usage Limits for Siri AI, ‘Expanded Access’ Coming for a Fee
Apple today confirmed that there will be a daily usage limit for Siri AI, with expanded access available for a fee in the future.

In the fine print of Apple’s announcement of the Health Sensing features coming to the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, Apple says it will have usage limits on Siri AI, intelligent photo editing tools, Image Playground, and Apple Foundation Cloud models in the Shortcuts app.
Certain Apple Intelligence features that rely on server-side models are subject to daily usage limits, including but not limited to Siri AI, intelligent photo editing tools, Image Playground, and AFM 3 Cloud models in Shortcuts. Daily limits may vary by feature, request complexity, system demand, system policies, and other factors. Expanded access to such features will be available for a fee in the future.

Apple did not offer details on what the fee will be or how it will be charged, but at WWDC, Apple said that higher iCloud+ tiers will include expanded access to the limited Apple Intelligence features.
iOS 27 with Siri AI and the new capabilities will launch on September 14. The new Apple Watch and iPhone models will come out on September 18.
