Samsung opens One UI 9.0 beta program for Galaxy A55

Last month, we discovered evidence suggesting that Samsung may open the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A55. That has finally turned out to be true.

Samsung has released the first beta version of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy A55. Currently, the brand seems to be rolling it out only in its home country, South Korea.

The update is 2,129.23MB in size and carries firmware version A556SKSUAZZI1 (via Samsung Community, Tarun Vats).

Samsung should make it available in a few other regions around the globe, including Europe, India, the UK, and the US soon.

Once available in your region, you can get it by opening the Samsung Members app, searching for the banner for the One UI 9.0 beta program for the Galaxy A55, tapping on it, and enrolling your device in it. Now, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
