New Galaxy A08 leak reveals its design, looks just like Galaxy A07

Back in April, we learned that Samsung is developing a new Galaxy A series smartphone, the Galaxy A08, which will succeed the Galaxy A07. Previously, we received information about its launch timeframe and battery capacity. Now, we have our first look at the upcoming phone, revealing its design.

The Cipher Project has shared an alleged image of the Galaxy A08. As you can see in the image below, the device looks almost identical to its predecessor, the Galaxy A07. It has thick bezels around the display, while the screen features a U-shaped notch, a design familiar from the brand’s entry-level phones.

At the rear, the phone has two cameras and a plain, glossy back panel. The device shown in the image is green, suggesting that this could be one of the colour options the company will offer. The leak does not clarify whether the phone shown is the 4G or 5G version. However, both variants are expected to share the same design.

According to previous leaks, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A08 4G in October this year, followed by the Galaxy A08 5G in February next year. The phone is also said to feature a 6,000mAh battery, up from the 5,000mAh unit in its predecessor. With only a month to go before the expected launch, we should get more information about the phone soon.
