Samsung launches Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra One UI 9 beta program

It’s raining One UI 9 betas for Samsung devices this month. After opening the One UI 9 beta program for all of its flagship phones launched in 2023 and later and a couple of mid-range devices, Samsung has now released the One UI 9 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

One UI 9 Watch is based on Wear OS 7, and its beta version for Samsung’s 2024 smartwatches comes a week after the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic received it. The new update is rolling out in South Korea and should come to the US soon — these are the only markets where Samsung is making the One UI 9 Watch beta program available.

The update brings support for Antioxidant Index and Vascular Load on the Galaxy Watch 7 and the original Galaxy Watch Ultra. It also brings slightly refreshed UI design, new widgets, and other new features.
