Galaxy Watch 8 gets second One UI 9 Watch beta update

Last month, Samsung opened the One UI 9 Watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. Now, the brand has released the second beta version of its latest custom Wear OS interface for the two smartwatches. The update brings four changes. You can check out the official changelog below (via Samsung Community).

  • Applied stabilization code for device operation
  • Fixed Health App errors
  • Fixed Watch Face errors
  • Fixed AOD time data errors

Currently, the company appears to be rolling out the second beta version of One UI 9 Watch to the two smartwatches in its home country, South Korea. The update for the non-cellular variant of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is 242.13MB in size and carries firmware version L500XXU2ZZI1 (via Kailash).

The updates for the cellular variant of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and all Galaxy Watch 8 variants should be similar in size, with their firmware versions also expected to end with ZZI1. The tech giant should release these updates in other countries where the beta program is available in the next couple of days.
