TCL unveils 11″ TCL Tab A1 NxtPaper tablet and a kids watch with a robotic cradle

TCL has brought two NxtPaper tablets and a kids smartwatch to IFA. Unlike the new TCL P80 phones, which introduced the first AMOLED-based NxtPaper displays, the tablets rely on LCD.

The TCL Tab A1 NxtPaper is a new 11” tablet with a NxtPaper LCD with 2.1K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. TCL will offer the tablet on its own, but there is also a version that comes bundled with a Kids Proof case that adds protective padding, a place to stash a small stylus and a built-in carrying handle/kickstand.
