Samsung brings three AI features from Galaxy Z Fold 8 to the S26 Ultra

Samsung introduced several new Galaxy AI features with One UI 9.0 on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. While these capabilities were initially missing from the One UI 9.0 beta software on the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is now rolling them out to its conventional flagships.

Samsung has released the seventh One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. This latest build introduces three notable features:

Custom cards in Now Brief are based on the Create My Widget feature Google introduced with Android 17. It allows you to select specific data points from apps like Samsung Health, Weather, and YouTube, displaying them in a widget-like layout directly inside Now Brief.

The My FanCam feature lets you open any video and select a person to track. The phone then uses on-device AI to follow that person and automatically crop the video frame around them. You can access it in the stock Gallery app by opening a video and tapping the Galaxy AI icon.

Users can now display both Finder and Google Search bars simultaneously on the home screen. In this split layout located just above the favorites dock, the Finder bar appears slightly narrower than the Google Search bar. You can see how the layout looks in the screenshot below.

These dual search bar options and Galaxy AI tools will likely arrive on other compatible Galaxy smartphones once the stable One UI 9.0 update begins rolling out.
