Galaxy S27 Ultra leak reveals a massive horizontal camera bar redesign
Over the past few days, several reports have claimed that Samsung is bringing a major redesign with the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Now, a new leak has almost confirmed that change. It appears that the South Korean firm is going with an iPhone 17 Pro Max-like design, featuring a horizontal rectangular camera bar.
Android Headlines has published renders of the Galaxy S27 Ultra based on 3D CAD models obtained from reliable leakster OnLeaks. They showcase a large horizontal camera bar on the back of the phone housing three cameras. This is a major departure from the vertical camera layout that Samsung has used over the past several years.

The report claims that the Galaxy S27 Ultra measures 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, making it nearly identical in dimensions to the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm
- Galaxy S27 Ultra: 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm
It has already been revealed that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, 12GB or more of RAM, 256GB or more of storage, and a 5,700mAh battery. It will run One UI 9.5 out of the box and receive seven generations of Android OS upgrades.
Additionally, the phone will likely support 60W fast wired charging and built-in magnets for 25W Qi2 fast wireless charging.
