PlayStation’s Pulse Elevate speakers finally have a release date

You may or may not remember when PlayStation introduced us to the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers during its State of Play presentation. If you forgot, no one will blame you, given that the PS5, PC, and Mac-compatible speakers were announced almost a year ago. In PlayStation’s defense, the company did say its wireless speakers would launch sometime in 2026. If you’ve been waiting for the release, PlayStation is almost ready to start pre-orders.

In an update to the announcement article, PlayStation revealed that the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers will finally launch on November 12, 2026. At launch, these speakers will cost $219.99 in the US, €219.99 in the EU, £199.99 in the UK, and ¥37,980 in Japan. Meanwhile, pre-orders are scheduled to start next month, on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET.

The Pulse Elevate will be available in two color options: Midnight Black and White. The Midnight Black variant will be available globally on PlayStation’s online store and participating retailers. However, the White edition will be exclusive to certain regions. Those markets include the US, the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

As a quick refresher for what these speakers bring to the table, they feature planar magnetic drivers and built-in woofers for full-bodied sound. A built-in microphone allows for both voice chat and noise rejection. They also use PlayStation Link technology for low latency and lossless connectivity. However, they are also compatible with Bluetooth devices. And the built-in rechargeable battery allows the speakers to be portable.
