CMF earbud teaser could signal a Buds 2 successor

Similar to its parent company, Nothing, CMF has a tendency to tease its upcoming products ahead of launches. The electronics maker has just shared its latest teaser. That teaser reveals the company’s next major launch.
Early this morning, CMF published a social post on the website formerly known as Twitter. Contained in that post was the text “A hint of what’s next,” which is joined by an image. That image features a single earbud pictured from the bottom up.
The earbud in question has a white stem with two microphones located at the bottom, a round body with a metallic silver finish, and a silicone tip in the same color orange CMF is known for. Unfortunately, the company did not include any details about this audio device.
Based on the design, it looks awfully similar to the entries in the CMF Buds 2 line. This line includes the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds Pro 2. If this happens to be a third-generation CMF Buds, it’s unclear which model this could be the successor to. We’ll just have to wait for CMF to tease more information as we get closer to a launch.
