TL;DR

  • Sony has launched a new “Olive Gray” color for the WH-1000XM6 headphones.
  • It’s the third new color for the XM6 headphones this year.
  • It joins Black, Silver, Midnight Blue, Sand Pink, and Sandstone as the sixth color option for the headphones.

Sony’s flagship headphones — the WH-1000XM6 — are about a year old, but they remain one of the best headphones you can buy. Sony has also been trying to keep them fresh with new colorways every few months, and it continues that trend with a new color.

The WH-1000XM6 headphones are now available in a new Olive Gray finish, bringing the total color options for the headphones up to six. Olive Gray is the third new option this year, with Sandstone released in May and Sand Pink released back in February. It joins Black, Silver, Midnight Blue, Sand Pink, and Sandstone as the sixth color option for the XM6.

Apart from the new color, the headphones remain the same. They still feature excellent ANC and microphones and offer good sound quality. All the features of the XM6 headphones, including the 10-band EQ, spatial audio, and DSEE Extreme, are still here as well. The XM6 also comes with admirable battery life, lasting 37 hours and 14 minutes in our standardized battery test.

The Olive Gray XM6 is priced the same as other color options and can be purchased from Sony’s website and Amazon for $459.99 right now.
