Galaxy Z Fold 7’s new update brings June 2026 security patch

Samsung has started rolling out the June 2026 security patch to its smartphones with foldable displays, and the first device to which the brand is offering it is the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

As you might expect, the company has released the update, which fixes 45 security issues, first in its home market, South Korea. It carries firmware version F966NKSUABZF1 (via Tarun Vats).

Typically, Samsung, after releasing an update in its home market, offers it in the remaining countries over the next few days. Considering that, if you live outside South Korea, expect to get the June 2026 security patch on your Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the next couple of weeks.

This is the second update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 after Samsung released One UI 8.5 for it, which brought visual changes and new features. However, if you are thinking that your phone has the brand’s latest Android customisation for Galaxy devices, you’d be wrong.

The company has also debuted One UI 9.0. The tech giant has made its beta version available for the Galaxy S26 series, and may open the new software’s beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
