Two more Galaxy A series phones grab May 2026 security update

Samsung started rolling out the May 2026 security patch to its smartphones by offering it first to the Galaxy A56. Since then, the brand has released it to many Galaxy A series phones, including the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A26. Now, the company is rolling out to two more devices in the lineup, the Galaxy A73 and the Galaxy A24.

The tech giant is rolling it out for the international variants of the two smartphones, which means that it should be available in many countries around the globe. The update for the Galaxy A73 carries firmware version A736BXXSCGZE2, and that for the Galaxy A54 carries firmware version A245FXXSCEZE1 (via SammyFans).

To get the latest update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The May 2026 security patch addresses 36 vulnerabilities present in the previous version of the OS, making these phones more secure than before.
