New Galaxy S27 Pro leak sheds light on its rear camera setup

Usually, Samsung launches a new Galaxy S series with three models: Regular, Plus, and Ultra. However, the brand is expected to launch the Galaxy S27 lineup with four devices, with the additional model being the Galaxy S27 Pro. This phone is said to be aimed at people who want the features of the Ultra model but not its S Pen.

Omitting the S Pen will allow the company to either make the device more compact or pack it with more features. To that extent, the Galaxy S27 Pro was expected to feature almost the same rear camera setup as the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Now, a new leak about the device sheds more light on that front. Let’s take a look.

On Weibo, a popular tipster, Ice Universe claims that the primary and the ultra-wide cameras on the Galaxy S27 Pro will be the same as those on the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and these will be brand new sensors. However, they say that the Pro model will have a different telephoto camera compared to that of the Ultra model.

According to previous reports, the Galaxy S27 Pro will have a 6.47-inch screen with Privacy Display, and it will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy chipset. The phone is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery. Price-wise, it may sit right below the top-of-the-line model, the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
