Marshall has announced the new Milton A.N.C., a pair of wireless on-ear headphones that combine ANC, extended battery life, and a foldable travel-friendly design. According to the company, the headphones offer more than 50 hours of playback with ANC enabled, or up to 80 hours with ANC turned off.

The new headphones retain Marshall’s signature retro-inspired aesthetic, including textured leather-style ear cups, brass accents, and powder-coated metal arms. The company says it redesigned the ear cushions with softer memory foam and increased their size to improve both comfort and passive isolation during long listening sessions. Marshall also introduced a new 32mm driver system that promises improved bass and treble extension, along with support for high-quality wireless audio playback.

Feature-wise, the Milton A.N.C. includes adaptive ANC that automatically adjusts to environmental noise in real time, plus a Transparency mode for hearing surrounding sounds. Other additions include Adaptive Loudness, which adjusts tonal balance based on listening volume and ambient noise, and “Soundstage”, Marshall’s in-house stereo spatialization feature.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio support and compatibility with SBC, AAC, LC3, and LDAC codecs. Marshall also says the headphones are repairable and include a replaceable battery, which is still relatively uncommon in wireless headphone designs.

The Marshall Milton A.N.C. is available starting today through Marshall’s official website for $229, with retail availability beginning May 27. On paper, the feature set positions the headphones against premium portable ANC models from brands like Sony and Bose, though we’ll need to put them through the SoundGuys testing lab to see whether the audio quality, ANC performance, and comfort live up to the claims.
