Latest Galaxy Tab S9 FE series update makes it more secure

Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9. FE+ in its home country, South Korea. The update brings the April 2026 security patch, which fixes 47 security issues. The updates for the two tablets carry firmware versions X610XXSCDZD6 and X510XXSCDZD6, respectively.

Usually, Samsung releases a new software update for a Galaxy smartphone or tablet first in its home market, and a few days later, it starts offering it in other regions. Considering that, we expect the brand to release the April 2026 security patch to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series in other countries in the next few days.

To check its availability in your region, as well as to get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. On a related note, last week, Samsung started rolling out the May 2026 security patch as well. However, the brand has still not offered the previous month’s security patch to many devices. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series was one of them, but not anymore.
