Stable One UI 8.5 update for Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is finally here
Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the stable version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) to eligible Galaxy smartphones. So far, the brand has released it to new and high-end devices, such as Galaxy Z and Galaxy S series phones. Two of them were the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. However, the company hadn’t offered it to their distant cousin, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Fortunately, that’s finally changing.
Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. At the moment, the brand is rolling it out in its home country, South Korea. The update that offers it carries firmware version F761NKSU9BZDP. Currently, there’s no official information about when the company will release it in other countries. Considering the tech giant’s software rollout history, it may happen in the next few days.
You can check if Samsung has made it available in your region by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. That is also how you get the update.
One UI 8.5 brings a ton of changes. After installing it, the first one you will notice is a redesigned user interface. While looks are subjective, we believe that it looks cleaner, more modern, and more consistent. It is also more customisable, helping you personalise it to your preferences. Then there are a plethora of new features, including those related to Galaxy AI, making the phone more useful. You can check out the major ones in our video below.
