Samsung teases Galaxy S26’s low-light video recording prowess

Last week, Samsung announced that it will launch a new Galaxy S series, which is expected to be the Galaxy S26, on 25 February 2026. Since then, the brand has been teasing the upgrades it will offer, such as Privacy Display and better low-light imaging. Well, the company has now shared one more teaser about the upcoming phones’ low-light video recording capabilities.

On X and YouTube, Samsung has shared a video that shows a person skateboarding. Initially, the video looks dark and dull, and with a transitioning effect from right to left, it starts looking much brighter and more vivid. When this happens, Samsung says “Sun down. Moon up. Low-light video on” and later, asks “Can your phone do that?” At the end, the video says, “Coming 02.25.26.”

Galaxy S26 may not offer improved camera hardware

Recent reports about the Galaxy S26 series suggest that the base and Plus models will offer a newer processor, whereas the Ultra version will also come with Privacy Display and an improved front-facing camera. Those are the only major hardware upgrades these phones are expected to offer. Despite that, Samsung may launch them at a higher price than the current ones due to rising smartphone manufacturing costs, especially those of memory chips.
