Facing issues with Good Lock Sound Assistant? Samsung aims to fix it soon

Samsung’s Sound Assistant app for Galaxy smartphones, which is a module for its Good Lock app, provides users of these phones with additional options for sound and volume over the ones that One UI does. One of them is the ability to select the audio output device from the volume adjustment panel. Well, it looks like there’s a problem with it, and Samsung aims to fix it with the next update to the app.

On Samsung Community, a Galaxy Z Fold 5 user complains that when they tap the button to select the audio output device, the phone goes to the lock screen. They also received a notification saying that the feature isn’t available. Upon reinstalling the app, the error pop-up disappeared. However, the issue where the phone shows the lock screen when they press the audio output button is still there.

According to the user, the two issues started appearing after installing the last update to the app. One of Samsung’s Moderators on the forum acknowledged the problem and said that the brand will fix it with the next update to the app (via SammyFans). If you were also one of the people facing this issue, rest assured that the South Korean tech giant will fix it with the next update.
