Soundcore Sleep A30 Special launches with better battery life and lower price

Soundcore is refreshing its Sleep A30 earbuds with a new “Special” edition that addresses two of the original model’s key weaknesses: battery life and price.

The Sleep A30 Special maintains the active noise cancelation that set the original apart from the A20, but extends battery life significantly while dropping to $199.99—$30 less than the original’s launch price. According to Soundcore representatives at CES 2026, this updated model will eventually phase out the first-generation Sleep A30.

The new model retains the original’s core features, including the “Triple Noise Reduction System” combining ANC, passive isolation, and adaptive snore masking technology. The case continues to monitor ambient snoring patterns in real-time, adjusting masking audio accordingly. Soundcore has also partnered with Calm to provide sleep stories alongside the AI brainwave audio and white noise options.

The improved battery life directly addresses one of the main criticisms from our original review, where the Sleep A30 fell short of a full eight-hour night at 7 hours and 33 minutes of continuous use. The Special edition should provide more reliable all-night performance for side sleepers who need consistent noise blocking.

The Soundcore Sleep A30 Special launches January 6, 2026, at $199.99. The updated pricing brings these closer to the ideal price point I suggested in my original review, making the ANC upgrade over the A20 more palatable for light sleepers dealing with snoring partners or urban noise.
