Honor Power2 debuts with 10,080 mAh battery and Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset

It was not that long ago when any phone with a battery capacity over 5,000mAh was guaranteed to be a clunky rugged phone, but the last few years have seen a revolution thanks to silicon-carbon (Si/C) anode technology. This allowed smartphone makers to fit higher energy density batteries inside smartphones, and we are now at the point of passing the 10,000mAh battery threshold inside a phone that’s under 8mm thick.
