Here’s the changelog for the Galaxy S25’s upcoming One UI 8.5 beta 3
A few days ago, we learned that Samsung may release the third beta version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy S25 series on 5 January 2026 or 6 January 2026.
While the brand hasn’t rolled out the update yet, we now have its changelog (via Tarun Vats). Carrying firmware version ZZA3, it will offer the changes mentioned below.
- Fixed the clock display error on the lock screen.
- Resolved the issue related to favorites in the phone app.
- Fixed the issue where Now Briefing does not display.
- Improved the screen lagging issue when using Live Effect in the gallery.
- Improved the issue of high power consumption when a specific app is running.
- Enhanced the visibility of the search button on the widget addition screen.
Cosidering the previous leak, and the fact that the changelog is now live on Samsung’s over-the-air (OTA) update server, the brand could release it very soon, most likely today or tomorrow.
