Apple Music has pipped Spotify Wrapped to the post with its latest Apple Music Replay feature. Launched on December 2, 2025, this compiles your favorite songs, albums, artists, playlists, genres, and stations into playful year-end insights. This is based on your listening history, including the number of plays and time spent listening to songs, artists, albums, playlists, genres, and stations throughout the year.
Like Spotify Wrapped, Apple Music Replay provides a year-end highlight reel with an audiovisual recap of your most-listened-to music. All your insights, from top songs to major milestones, are shareable on social media channels. The 2025 edition also now offers a “Discovery” section for highlighting new artists you’ve listened to. You’ll also find a “Loyalty” segment, which spotlights artists you’ve consistently returned to each year. Finally, “Comebacks” highlights which artists reappeared in your listening rotation.
Fans can view their monthly Replay highlights and revisit past annual summaries. There’s also a “Replay All Time” playlist. This highlights all of your most-played songs since signing up for the service. Artists benefit from access to new metrics, including listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries. This runs alongside previous installments, including metrics for total listeners, countries, cities, and minutes streamed.
You can access the Apple Music Replay dashboard from the Home tab in the Apple Music app or from the company’s website. However, you must be signed in to the Apple Account that’s linked to your Apple Music subscription to use this feature.
