Microsoft’s Surface Pro 7+ was only announced about two weeks ago, but it has its first firmware update. The update includes several resolutions to screen-related issues, including screen refresh issues and adaptive brightness issues. As is the case with most firmware updates, this update does not include any new features.
Here’s everything that’s new for the Surface Pro 7+, as found on a Microsoft support page:
The Surface Pro 7+ features a removable SSD and runs on Intel 11th Gen processors. It also has Iris Xe graphics. Microsoft claims that between the CPU and GPU and improvements, the Surface Pro 7+ is “2.1 times faster” than before.
The Surface Pro 7+ is aimed at business users, though anyone can buy one.
The latest firmware update for the Surface Pro 7+ started rolling out on January 20, 2021, but we now have a full changelog.
