Windows 10, KB4541331 débarque pour corriger une défaillance lors d’une mise à niveau

Microsoft vient de publier plusieurs nouvelles mises à pour les anciennes versions de Windows 10. Cela concerne en particulier 1809 également connu sous le nom d’October 2018 Update.

Cette maintenance ne fait pas parti du Partch Tuesday. L’accent est mis sur les améliorations dites de « non-sécurité ». Nous avons de correctifs attendus.

Par exemple, KB4541331 corrige un bug à l’origine d’un plantage du PC lors de la mise à niveau vers 1809. Microsoft n’apporte pas beaucoup d’information autour de ce problème. Nous savons seulement qu’il se produit dans certains scénarios ce qui sous-entend qu’il n’affecte pas un grand nombre d’appareils.

Cette mise à jour cumulative s’accompagne d’une série de correctifs destinés aux entreprises. Microsoft ajoute que des optimisations de compatibilité permettent de rendre la mise à niveau vers 1809 plus fluide à partir d’anciennes versions de Windows 10

Il n’y a aucun problème connu avec cette nouvelle mise à jour cumulative. A noter que son installation permet à l’OS de progresser en version 17763.1131. Ce chiffre disponible en lançant winver dans Executer (WIN+R) permet de vérifier que l’installation s’est déroulée avec succès.
