The next midrange lineup from Redmi is arriving with four cameras, and we expect to see at least two new phones – Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. The announcement is taking place in India through an online launch, and you can watch it below – it begins at noon local time.
The Redmi Note 9 family will have a square camera setup, as a teaser previously confirmed. Other rumored specs include LCD screen with a single punch hole for the 16 MP camera. The quad setup on the back is likely to arrive with a 48 MP main shooter, 8 MP ultra-wide snapper, 5 MP macro sensor and a depth camera.
The big question is whether any of the new Qualcomm chipsets will be introduced with the Redmi family – a leak said that we might see the Snapdragon 720G. Fast-charging is also a big unknown, but follow the stream to see what has Xiaomi and its subsidiary Redmi got for us.
