The newest Xbox controller is Pulse Red and it’s coming on February 9
Microsoft unveiled the new Pulse Red Xbox wireless controller today, featuring all of the new improvements and adjustments included with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S controller, which is currently available in three colors: Carbon Black, Robot White, and Shock Blue.
This revision is among the best Xbox controllers currently available, with dynamic input latency, a share button and textured grips on the triggers. Per Microsoft, this controller is set to be released on February 9 worldwide at $64.99, pending retailer availability. A trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be included with the Pulse Red controller in some markets.
Regardless of whether you’re looking for a new controller with new features for the latest generation of Xbox consoles, a new way of testing Xbox Cloud Gaming or even something to compliment your PC gaming, a new Xbox controller is a great way to do so. Microsoft has been asking Xbox players via survey if they want to see features from Sony’s PS5 DualSense controller come to future Xbox controllers, such as the detailed haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. If these features are added it’s likely to be a ways off, such as in a possible third version of the Elite controller.
