We reported on the Release Candidate for the 1.16.3 update a few days ago, and now it’s officially rolling out to the public for Minecraft: Java Edition. This is a very minor update that builds on top of the Nether Update, and fixes a handful of bugs that were present.

The changelog for fixes in the official 1.16.3 update includes:

  • Giving an item and a gold ingot to a baby piglin and killing it duplicates the item
  • Piglins, Piglin Brutes, Hoglins and Zoglins have trouble pathfinding to the player when attacking

It’s a simple update that tackles a few key issues, but doesn’t do much else. Keep in mind, this update is just for the Java Edition, so it isn’t releasing for the Bedrock Edition on other platforms.
