Ubisoft shared its Q3 earnings for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, boasting an impressive record-setting quarter overall. One of the major highlights is Rainbow Six Siege, which has crossed 70 million players, up from 60 million players around nine months ago.

An update released in December added special support for the latest consoles, enabling a 120 FPS mode on Xbox Series X and PS5. The next game in the Rainbow Six franchise is Rainbow Six Quarantine, which has been repeatedly delayed and is currently scheduled to release at some point after April 2021, as is fellow Ubisoft title Far Cry 6.

Rainbow Six Siege first released back in 2015 and has seen numerous new Operators and updates since. Rainbow Six Siege was added to Xbox Game Pass for console back in October 2020 and is still available in the service right now, which likely aided the growth of the game’s playerbase throughout the last quarter.

Other big highlights for Ubisoft’s latest quarter include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which saw the biggest launch of any game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and propelled Ubisoft to its biggest quarter in company history.
