OnePlus released the first Android Q developer preview for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro last month, and now the company has dropped the second preview for its latest smartphones.
Those interested in giving the Android Q Developer Preview 2 a try can head over to the source link at the end of this article for files and installation instructions. However, it’s worth mentioning that this firmware isn’t as stable as the official builds and comes with known issues, including but not limited to the following:
- Reading mode doesn’t work
- Display mode doesn’t work
- The verification window can’t pop up in WIFI anonymous connection
- Low probability of having stability issues
If you still want to proceed, do note that installing this developer preview poses the risk of bricking your smartphone, so have all your important data backed up in advance. And, before commencing the installation process, be sure to have at least 3GB storage available on your smartphone, with the battery level at or above 30%.
