Next Halo: MCC flight delayed until February 25
343 Industries has announced in a new blog post that the next Halo: Master Chief Collection (MCC) flight that was planned for February 18, 2021 has been pushed back to February 25, 2021 due to some unexpected bugs.
In terms of what content will be offered in the test flight, 343 Industries has confirmed that unless something changes, the flight will contain two new maps for Halo 3 from Halo Online called Edge and Waterfall. Other additions in the flight include content from the upcoming Season 6, FOV slider support for Xbox One consoles, an unlocked FOV slider for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles set to 120Hz, double keybindings, mouse and keyboard support on console, and new options for both audio and weapon viewmodel settings. Additionally, 343 Industries noted that a week or two into the flight, the long-awaited custom games browser will also be added to the flight for testing.
To participate in the flight, players will need to sign up for the Halo Insider Program. Doing so is free and easy, and it will also be part of how to play the Halo Infinite beta when it comes out. Therefore, you should definitely sign up to be a Halo Insider. You should also check out the MCC if you haven’t already, as it offers all of the pre-Xbox One Halo shooters in a single bundle. It’s easily one of the best Xbox One shooters out there right now, and it’s also an excellent game to play while waiting for Halo Infinite to arrive.
