Microsoft announced that its Inspire event will run from July 14-15, 2021. The digital event is the largest partner event of the year for Microsoft. Registration for Inspire opens in June of this year, though Microsoft did not share an exact date.
Inspire is aimed at business partners, but Microsoft often announces a few things that general consumers take note of. For example, in 2019, Microsoft showed off Azure Speech translation, which let a presenter communicate in another language with a digital replication of their voice. At Inspire 2020, Microsoft announced new features for its Edge browser and Microsoft Teams.
The Microsoft Partner Twitter account shared a message inviting people to clear their calendars.
The updated Inspire website highlights three key areas that the event focuses on: creating connections, advancing expertise, and sharing accomplishments.
The website also has a highlight video from Inspire 2020 and links to featured sessions from last year’s event. It also has links to stories of Microsoft partners.
Inspire 2020 was also an all-digital event and was free to attend. Microsoft moved to virtual events in response to the current global pandemic. Generally, the feedback to these events has been positive.
