Huawei unveiled EMUI 11 in September with upgrades to split-screen multitasking, multi-screen collaboration 3.0, animated always-on displays and much more. Some phones are already running the beta version as a final checkup before the stable version starts rolling out.

For the Huawei P40 series and the Mate 30 Pro (both 4G and 5G versions), that will happen before the end of the year. Here’s the timeline for the stable EMUI 11 update. The updates will mostly roll out simultaneously around the world, with few exceptions.
