The LG 27GL650F-B 27-inch 1080p 144Hz G-Sync compatible gaming monitor has dropped to $247.99 on Amazon. We haven’t seen this monitor go on sale much recently. Today’s drop is the second lowest we have ever seen, and outside of one previous drop the screen has been selling for around its $300 street price since last year. And it’s only since that time that the street price has been around $300 because before that it was going as high as $350. You can see it’s going for $270 at Best Buy and up to $295 at Newegg.

Plus, the monitor uses adaptive sync. The default is AMD’s FreeSync. If you have one of Nvidia’s more recent graphics cards (GTX 10xx or RTX 20xx) and connect via the DisplayPort, you can also use G-Sync. That’s important because this is a great deal no matter which way you lean, so it’s nice to have the option. Adaptive sync helps reduce screen tearing and remove artifacts. Connecting via the DisplayPort is also how you maximize the refresh rate, so if you want to get to 144Hz you’ll need to connect that way, too.

The other connectivity options in addition to the DisplayPort include two HDMI ports on the back. The monitor also supports HDR10 and has extreme color accuracy. While it has a quality stand where the height and tilt can be adjusted, it’s also VESA compatible so you can choose to mount it to the wall or to a desktop arm if you want.
