Dirt 5 is an upcoming next-generation racing game that will run at 120 frames per second on Xbox Series X. The title is also coming to current-generation machines, and was scheduled to launch on October 9. However, now it’s been delayed to October 16, but those who purchase the Amplified Edition can play on October 13. As expected, early access comes at a higher price.

In Windows Central’s preview, Richard Devine said, “For now, what I’ve had is certainly enough to whet my appetite. I’ve been playing Codemasters off-road games since the very first Colin McRae Rally and always had a soft spot for the lighter, more casual side presented by the Dirt titles. What I’ve seen and heard so far first-hand leaves me pretty excited for what’s to come and I can’t wait to get my hands on the finished product in October.”
