Alongside its Concept UFO handheld gaming PC, Dell took to CES 2020 to show off two more concept devices for the PC space. One, the Concept Duet, is similar to Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Neo, featuring dual displays separated by a bezel. The other, dubbed Concept Ori, takes things a step further with a folding display, much like Lenovo’s recently announced ThinkPad X1 Fold.

The Concept Duet packs two 13.4-inch displays that give it the look of a notebook. The focus for Dell with the Duet is to make multitasking more efficient. With a pen- and touch-first emphasis, Dell imagines scenarios in which you’ll compare and edit images or documents on each display. Even mundane tasks, like checking your email, can be enhanced by allowing you to take notes on the second screen as you read.

The Concept Ori, meanwhile, includes a 13-inch screen that folds like a book to be easily carried around. “This ‘seamless’ experience is perfect for reading articles in vertical mode and scrolling down the page, watching movies and more,” Dell says in a blog post revealing each concept. “You could switch between the single screen experience with stunning visuals, your favorite apps, and great pen experience; or a dual screen experience that opens new avenues for multitasking and notetaking – and everything in between.”
