Dell announced a wide range of monitors today, including a portable display and monitors built for video conferencing. Dell’s new devices feature designs built for hybrid and remote working and learning. They look to compete with the best computer monitors and launch later this year.
The Dell 14 Portable Monitor is the company’s first 14-inch portable display. It’s an FHD IPS monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The monitor can reach up to 300 nits of brightness and supports ComfortView to reduce blue light emissions. A tilt stand on the monitor’s back allows it to rest between 10 and 90 degrees. You can connect the monitor to your PC through USB-C.
The Dell 24 and 27 Video Conferencing monitors have built-in 5MP privacy pop-up cameras. They also feature noise-canceling microphones and dual 5W speakers. Both monitors have Dell’s TÜV-certified ComfortView Plus to reduce blue light. The monitors also support AMD FreeSync and have 75Hz refresh rates. The Dell 24 Videoconferencing Monitor has a 23.8-inch display, while the Dell 27 Video Conferencing Monitor has a 27-inch display.
The Dell 27 4K UHD USB-C Monitor and Dell 27 USB-C Monitor are built for convenience. Each monitor can deliver audio, video, and data while charging your laptop at up to 65W through USB-C.
The Dell 14 Portable Monitor starts at $350 and is available on August 31, 2021. The Dell 24 ($440) and Dell 27 ($600) Video Conferencing Monitor models are available on September 7, 2021 and October 12, 2021, respectively. The Dell 27 UBC-C Monitor will cost $500, while the Dell 27 4K USB-C Monitor will cost $620. Both USB-C monitors launch on August 19, 2021.
