If you’re waiting with baited breath for the release of the Creeping Winter DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, you’re not alone. Fortunately, there’s not much longer to wait now, with the update rolling out to the masses on September 8, 2020. In the meantime, there’s a new developer diary from Mojang Studios that goes over the Creeping Winter DLC, and what players can expect from Minecraft Dungeons’ next injection of content.
In the video, we learn more about how Creeping Winter differs from the previous Jungle Awakens DLC, like implenting an ice sliding mechanic that changes the way players will have to move through levels. Creeping Winter will also add new merchants to the camp, add different hostile mobs and cosmetic pets, a variety of new gear, and even daily trials which will ramp up the difficulty of the game even more. The video also hints at higher level gear being available, allowing to players to increase their power to greater heights.
