Minecraft, one of the Best Games for Kids has had an incredibly busy year, between releasing the huge Nether Update, hosting the bustling Minecraft Live event, and announcing the future Caves and Cliffs Update coming in Summer 2021. One of the more fun things to come out of Minecraft in 2020 is the How We Make Minecraft series, episodic YouTube videos that go over the “why” and “how” of various parts of, well, making Minecraft.

The series went over mobs in episode one, crafting in episode two, artwork and design in episode three, and sound design in episode four. Now, a new article from Mojang Studios gives a behind-the-scenes look at the How We Make Minecraft series. If you’re expecting a plethora of new information and delightful tidbits here, you’ll first have to decipher all of the tongue-in-cheek nonsense in the article, but it’s still a nice look at the awesome How We make Minecraft series.

Starting with choosing a subject (and writing the script), to selecting the charming narrator that makes the series great, to “revealing Minecraft’s deepest, darkest secrets,” and finally turning to Swedish animation studio Brikk, How We Make Minecraft is a great series to tune into if you’re at all a fan of Minecraft and are interested in a little more insider info. Or, alternatively, you wish to profess your undying love to Mobbo.

The next episode of How We Make Minecraft is just around the corner, and most likely will be about caves and cliffs, so Minecraft players looking forward to the next major update should definitely keep an eye out for this one.
