How to install The Camelizer on Windows 10

The CamelCamelCamel “The Camelizer” extension is available for all major browsers supported on Windows 10, and you can install it using the steps below.

Install The Camelizer extension on Edge

To install The Camelizer on Microsoft Edge (Chromium), use these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the Settings and more (three-dotted) button and select the Extensions option.
  3. Click the Get extensions for Microsoft Edge option from the left navigation pane.

How to check Amazon product price history using The Camelizer

To check the price history for Amazon products, use these steps:

  1. Open Amazon website.
  2. Sign in with your account (if applicable).
  3. Search for a product you want to get on Amazon Prime Day.
  4. Click The Camelizer button next to the address bar.

The extension is divided into different sections, which you can navigate using the options in the left rail. The most important part is the Price history tab, which shows you all the historical data for a particular product from Amazon and third-party sellers.

The blue graph shows the price history from third-party sellers, and the red graph highlights the pricing for used products from third-party sellers.

If you’re shopping on Prime Day, you want to focus on Amazon’s price history (the green graph). You can click the blue and red options at the bottom of the page to disable this data in the graph.

Also, under the main graph, you have the History section, which allows you to change the product’s date range to “1 Month,” “3 Months,” “6 Month,” “1 Year,” and “All Time.”

How to track Amazon product price using The Camelizer

You can install the extension and start using the CamelCamelCamel service to immediately check historical data for a particular Amazon product. However, If you want to track products and get alerts, you need to sign up with the service.

  1. Open CamelCamelCamel website.
  2. Confirm your email address.
  3. Create a new password for the account.
  4. Click the Create my account button.

Once you complete the steps, you can start saving products in the service to track their price history on Amazon.

To save a product and get alerts when the price drops, use these steps:

  1. Open Amazon website.
  2. Sign in with your account information (if applicable).
  3. Search for a product.
  4. Click The Camelizer extension button from the top-right.
  5. Under the “Price type” section, use the lowest and highest price information to determine the desired price for the product sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

  6. (Optional) Specify the desired price for the product sold by a third-party merchant.
  7. (Optional) Specify the price you’re willing to pay for the product in used condition.
  8. Click the Save Price Watches button.

After you complete the steps, the CamelCamelCamel service will keep tabs on the price, and when it reaches your desired price range, you’ll receive an alert to get the product.

Once you saved your items, you can view them all at the CamelCamelCamel website, where you can see the current and desired prices.

If you want to see additional information, you can click the item to review the price history, change the desired price, or delete the item from the list.

Change chart options

To adjust the chart visuals options, use these steps:

  1. Open Amazon website.
  2. Sign in with your account information (if applicable).
  3. Search for a product.
  4. Click The Camelizer extension button from the top-right.
  5. Click the Chart Options (gear) button from the left rail.

  6. Clear the price type charts you don’t want to see, such as Third-Party New and Third-Party Used.

After you complete the steps, the chart for all products will show with your configuration.

If you want to update your account information and other settings, you can do this from the CamelCamelCamel website.

Although we’re outlining the steps on Windows 10, you can also use the extension on available web browsers for macOS and Linux to shop smarter this year’s Amazon Prime Day event.

Finally, at the time of this writing, CamelCamelCamel released an update for the extension, but the update is currently only available for Chrome and Firefox. As a result, if you use Microsoft Edge, you may be stuck with the old interface for a little longer. However, since the old and new versions are similar, you can still refer to these steps to use it.
